Linda Jackson

Linda Jackson most recently served as Managing Director for Robert Wilson's Byrd Hoffman Watermill Foundation. In 1987 she was appointed the General Director of Chautauqua Opera making her the first African American woman to run a professional opera company in the U.S. Her experience in both administration and production encompasses working for such companies as Houston Grand Opera, The Glimmerglass Festival, New York City Opera and the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Jackson holds a BA from Douglass College.
